This was one crazy day! Our small team of 5 woke up to new users signing up by the second. Scoodle had just been featured as App of the day! We'll tell you how that unfolded another day. But for now, here's what Apple had to say about us:
If you've ever struggled with your homework or had difficulty grasping a key concept, Scoodle can help - with highly trained tutors on alert to help high schoolers and students of all stripes.
All you need to do is select your subject, browse the list of answered questions and if you can't find the answer you need, post your own question. You'll then get a response from a tutor, for free.
The tutors aren't just helping from the goodness of their hearts, although they are very helpful. Their answers are a kind of advertising because you can also book one-on-one teaching sessions with them - so, if you feel that you could do with a bit of help on crystals or calculus, you can book time with one of more than 2000 experts at a time that suits both of you.
Prices vary from tutor to tutor but they're generally lower than you'd pay for someone local. Scoodle doesn't take a cut of the tutors' fees so they aren't under any pressure to try and increase their prices.
The tutors are good, but it's important to note that their expertise doesn't cover everything. They're here for academic subjects, not to give you the answer to the meaning of life, the universe and everything. But then, you don't need an app for that. The answer, of course, is 42.
