What is more beneficial and why: Going to college or going to sixth form? I am not sure which one would be the better option for me. I want to study accounting in the future, however I don’t know if I should do my A levels in sixth form first.

Hi - there are many routes to accounting. A minimum requirement is, usually, A-levels (or equivalent). It doesn’t really matter where you get them from so long as you get the required grades. I would suggest you choose an educational establishment where you will enjoy learning! Most Big 4 firms operate an apprenticeship scheme which gives you a route to Chartered Accountancy straight after attain... more

What gcses do i need to do to be an accountant

Hi Mikey, It is good to hear that you are thinking about your future and potential career choices. As a trainee graduate Chartered Accountant myself, I know from personal experience and from talking to others that no specific GCSE subjects are required. How much money does it take to invest in a school?

Hey there ☺️ It depends on the school itself. Is the school a private or public organisation? If it's private it's upto the people who run it - they set the minimum investment level - But even then, if you get a group of like minded friends, you can pool your money to invest together & reach the minimum

Fixtures £10,000, Stock £5,000, Cash at bank £10,000, Liabilities: Creditors £2,500. There were no acquisitions and no new injection of capital. What is the profit during the month?

Since Fixtures are capital asset, the expense isn't shown initially in the profit and loss statement so we can ignore that. That leaves Cash+Stock-Creditors, which leaves £12,500. This is all assuming that both the stock and cash came that month.

The dance team was arranging seats for its performance. They expected 225 people to attend, and they wants to arrange the seats in fewer than 10 equal rows. How many rows and seats per row could they set up for the performance?

If you have 22 seats per row, you'll end up with 10 equal rows but 5 extra seats left (for an 11th row). With 23 seats per row, you'll end up with 9 equal rows, plus a 10th row with 18 seats.
