# Nth term of 7,10,15,22?

Step 1: Find the 1st common difference which is (10-7)=3, (15-10)=5, (22-15)=7. Since the 1st common difference is not constant then we need to find the second common difference Step 2: Find 2nd common difference (5-3)=2, (7-5)=2. Since we have a constant difference of 2 we divide it by 2 and multiply with a sequence of n^2 Step 3: sequence of (2/2)*n^2 So 1, 4, 9, 16 Then we subtract the new sequence from the original sequence so (7-1)=6, 10-4=6, 15-9=6... So we can say the nth term is n^2 + 6.
