BIOLOGY
Asked by 刘勋陽

Chemical bond and intermolecular bonds Is it the same? If not, tell me the difference?

Chemical bonds are like two people who are married. It will take a lot more energy (and money) to break them apart. And if they do break apart, they are never the same. Intermolecular bonds are like people who are dating. They are not really committed to each other and it takes less energy to break them apart, and they are pretty much the same when they break apart and will easily for new bonds.

A chemical bond is the bind between two atoms for example, 2 carbon atoms. Intermolecular bonds are bonds between molecules for example, 2 water molecules. Chemical bonds tend to be stronger than intermolecular bonds too. Hope this helps.
