Hello Tim, I would say yellow marrow is the one not belonging. Haematopoiesis is the production of the blood's cellular compinents (red cells, white cells and platelets). This is normally done within the red marrow, which fills the spongy marrow. On the other hand, yellow marrow produces fats, cartilage and bone. Hope this helps!
