Infarct simply means an area of dead tissue resulting from a lack/disruption of blood supply. In this case, an infarct in the parietal lobes of the brain means that there is now dead tissue in the parietal lobes, which are responsible for sensation and perception. This means that there may be deficiencies in these areas.
