Undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, with lots of tutoring experience
I am currently studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge and have been tutoring locally for a couple of years- covering a range of GCSE's and A levels. I like to find ways to explain difficult concepts and then show students that they are able to apply them, increasing their passion for learning and boosting their confidence, which are the two most important parts of education for me.
Medical Doctor (MBBS), Biomedical Science (1st class honours), Pharmacy assistant (NPA qualification), previous tutoring experience (The Study Spot, Deen Tutors, private one-to one-tutoring), previous medical school interviewer, A levels (Maths, Biology, Chemistry), AS level (Electronics), GCSEs (11 total with mostly A* and A’s). Overall, my strong suits are in the STEM field, Maths, English and Science.
I would be happy to help with medical school content (OSCE practice, medicine, surgery, specialties, prescribing exam), but I am also happy to take on suggestions and be flexible with what is taught.
I am also happy to help those preparing to apply to medical school (interviews, personal statements, transfer programme at St Georges Medical School, applying as a graduate) or to the NHS foundation program (SJT).
Really enjoy teaching! If I didn’t take the medical route I probably would have become a teacher.
Currently charging £25/ph for lessons, but won’t be like this for long!
Savvy tutor and undergraduate at King's College London
I’m a psychologist who has a background in clinical and child/adolescent mental health. I enjoy teaching both children and adolescents a lot and strongly believe that learning should be an interactive, fun and engaging experience!
Accomplished tutor and undergraduate at Northumbria University at Newcastle
I am a biology graduate from Northumbria University, now studying at The University of Sunderland to gain my Qualified a teacher Status.
I take a student-cantered approach, focusing on the topics they need help with the most, working in additional content to support and reinforce this knowledge as well as expand their understanding of the subject, encouraging them to aim higher and achieve their full potential.
During my sessions I like to not only address any content the student wishes to cover, but also crucial skills such as exam technique and coursework organisation.
Seasoned tutor and who is ready to teach!
I am an engaging, caring tutor whose aim is to expand you or your child’s knowledge & understanding so they grow in confidence in their chosen subject!
