Good passes through the digestive system. Starting at the mouth it it is broken down my saliva that includes the acid amalayse. It then moves to the oesophagus where it is moved down by a process called peristalsis. It then goes to the stomach where it is further broken down. Then into the small intestine (where nutrients are absorbed) and then the large intestine before being passed as waste.
