After I finish my education, I want to do a creative job which makes me happy. How can I get my parents to approve it when they say its not a 'real' job, 'you're not going to get paid well' or 'youll end up living on the streets if you keep thinking like that'? I know they want me to get a good job but after my GCSEs, I dont want to pick courses I hate or would rather not do. I am only considering them for the sake of my parents. Finance has always been a part in my life and I dont want to be proven wrong by my parents in the future and nor do I want to get stuck doing something I hate. I dont need an answer right away but I want to know so that I can relate back to this when I'm stuck in the future?

I am passionate about education and want to help!

I can totally understand the situation you're in, but I'm order to help you a little more, I'm going to a little more background. So what field do you actually want to go in to? Have you done your research to show that there are opportunities and that you're passionate. Finding a middle ground always helps so you might find something in the same area that you would enjoy and they would approve of too. What exactly do your parents consider a bad job? It really just takes a little time. Give them evidence and approach them in the right manner and hopefully you can convince them. I hope that helps and I wish you all the best!
