Hi Ruby It’s very difficult for a careers adviser to tell you what to do as they don’t know you. What we can do is encourage you to think about what you enjoy doing and what you are good at. Do you enjoy communicating with people, for example or are you really good with figures, numbers or data? From there we can help you to improve your understanding of the opportunities available and how they relate to the things you feel you like and are good at. Sometimes if you are really struggling to find direction doing work experience can help you to find things in a job that you enjoy. Talking to a skilled careers adviser can help you to understand yourself better and they can point you in the direction of relevant information. I hope this helps. Nicola
Maths and biology are an ideal combination for a career in Computational Biology or Bioinformatics also BigData, but you have to start by doing a first degree in Biology or Computer Science or Maths with one of these. Best wishes for your future.
