CAREER ADVICE
Asked by Selina

Is it possible to get into Oxford if I only have 7 GCSEs?

Universities care much more about your A-Level results. If you’re achieving grades over 90% in your A-Levels and demonstrate enthusiasm beyond the curriculum for your desired subject then the number of GCSEs should not be a problem.

There are many other factors that okay into acceptance at Oxford such as your Personal statement, how well you do in the interview, your grades at A Level etc, but if the grades you attained were high grades (7-9/ A-A*) I don’t see why it should be a problem
