What is the chemical composition of acid rain?

Acid rain occurs when water in rain mixes with pollutant gasses in the atmosphere to form acids. The pollutant gasses are carbon dioxide which forms carbonic acid with rain, sulphur dioxide which forms sulfuric acid and nitric oxide which forms nitric acid.
