What are advantages of continuous assessment
At Scoodle we understand that everyone learns in a different way. Some people learn through practice, using essays and notes; others prefer video lessons to watch and learn, some just need help with a specifically hard question, while some learn best 1-on-1 tutoring sessions. At Scoodle we cater for all types of learning styles and needs. From GCSE Maths video lessons to A-level English essays and specialist educators in every subject - we’ve got you covered.
Experienced and passionate tutor
I graduated with a BSc Psychology degree in 2015. Since then, I have built a breadth of experience supporting children and young people aged 3-18 in educational settings. I have worked as an Assistant Psychologist in primary and secondary schools where I have supported students with a range of needs (including Special Educational Needs) by running 1:1 and group interventions and supporting their teachers. I have received training from specialised Educational Psychologists on topics such as working memory, study skills, coaching, self-esteem, learning difficulties, cognition and executive functioning that I apply in my work. My students range in academic ability and I have experience of working with students with additional educational needs. I tailor each session to the varying needs of my students and I work hard to provide bespoke, enjoyable sessions with access to the resources and support required to achieve good marks and improved self-confidence. I am passionate about supporting learners to reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals.
Hey there! I've been teaching English as a second language to adults and children for 5 years now. We'll have an initial meeting free of charge to assess your/your child's needs and then form a tailored learning plan. I try to make learning as fun and communicative as possible and am always keen to teach in a way that my students find most beneficial.
I am passionate about teaching people between the ages of 6-16 years old!
I am currently studying a-levels and about to enter my third year of college doing English Literature, Sociology and Criminology. I have studied AS level Mathematics and I also achieved an A* certificate in Child Development and Care through Wakefield College. I am driven to tutor by my career passion of being an English Literature teacher for students in secondary school.
