Queen Mary University of London alumnus and 5+ years Private tuition experience
I studied English BA at Queen Mary for three years and during my degree I taught English GCSE part time. I am an enthusiastic teacher who inspires student's to reach and exeed their potential. My students in the past have been able to make massive progress because I tailor the lesson to suit their individual needs. I am able to balance work with personal development as I believe both are linked together. Through realising their potential a student can become more self confident in themselves as well as the subject.
Kind, adaptable and experienced English and Law Tutor
I began tutoring in schools whilst studying English Literature at Goldsmith’s College, University of London as part of a Student Ambassador role. Since then I have conducted many group, one-to-one, in person and web-based tutoring sessions and enjoy it very much. I have taught a wide range of people - from young children to those at university level, from those who require a lot of intervention academically to fairly skilled students who just want someone to cast an eye over a project, and so on. I feel particularly passionate about and adept in tailoring sessions to the goals, sensitivities, and schedules of each student and creating a space in which they feel safe and relaxed, with the belief that this environment engenders the most effective progress. Whatever your needs, get in touch :)
