At Scoodle we understand that everyone learns in a different way. Some people learn through practice, using essays and notes; others prefer video lessons to watch and learn, some just need help with a specifically hard question, while some learn best 1-on-1 tutoring sessions. At Scoodle we cater for all types of learning styles and needs. From GCSE Maths video lessons to A-level English essays and specialist educators in every subject - we’ve got you covered.
Versatile teacher of English and undergraduate at Brunel University London.
English student at Cambridge University
I am currently studying English at the University of Cambridge. I have always found teaching to be rewarding and started tutoring as a volunteer for GCSE Foundation Maths students. I have previously tutored primary school children in both English and Maths. I have also helped state school students in preparation for Oxbridge admissions, specifically English. Currently, I volunteer as an English tutor for disadvantaged students living in West London. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading and writing. I understand that students have different needs and learn through different methods. I am willing to find what works best for the students I work with - whether it be through condensed revision, exam practice or anything else. When preparing for my own English exams for both A-Level and GCSE, I benefitted massively from making mindmaps/essay plans; I still have these so can share them as examples.
