GEOGRAPHY
Asked by Selina

What does coastal erosion mean for the future of human civilization?

-Coastal erosion can have severe economic impacts, particularly felt in the tourism industry. In Scarborough in 1993, following heavy rainfall, coastal erosion led to the collapse of the £2 million Holbeck Hall Hotel. This created economic decline in the area, as it increased unemployment and changed perceptions.
