GEOGRAPHY
Asked by Leo

What is in the geological timeline? And what are the different forms of rocks during that period?

The Geological timeline is a record of when different rock types were formed during major geological events in history. The most recent period in this timeline is called the quaternary period. An example you could refer to in a question is the Cretaceous period which formed chalk. Or the Carboniferous period where coal and limestone were formed.
