GEOGRAPHY
Asked by Max

Why is the water cycle important to all life on the earth?

The water cycle is extremely important because it means water is available for all living organisms and regulates weather patterns on our planet. Without it we would run out of clean water. Plants rely on precipitation and anything consuming the plants wouldn't survive. The infiltration process cleans and filters the water. Runoff contributes to rivers, other fresh waterbodies, and eventually the ocean, sustaining freshwater and marine life. All these processes sustain life as we know it.
