Hello Antima, Good question! So, depending on how long your essay has got to be, I'd recommend having 3 main points, with a small paragraph for each. These should be balanced (showing both sides of an argument). In each point you should do the following: P- point (describe it in a short sentence) E- explain (go into a bit more detail) E- evidence (what tells you this information, a newspaper article, a photo, textbook?) L- link (use the words in the essay title to help you link your point back to the question, so you're being very clear) The structure of your essay should be as follows: - short introduction where you introduce the topic and your points. - point 1 -PEEL - point 2 -PEEL - point 3 -PEEL - conclusion, where you weight up your points and finish the essay. This should be more than enough for a year 8 essay!
