HISTORY
Asked by Letita

"The German workers benefitted from Nazi rule." How far do you agree with this statement?

The first thing to look at here is what stance you would like to take with your answer. A good idea is to make a mind map or list of arguments that support both sides. So, write a list of reasons German workers did benefit from nazi rule, and a list of how they did not. Usually, whichever side you have more answers for is the side you will argue most and also conclude with. Some ideas to look at include: education programmes Hitler implemented, how he increased pay, how he decreased unemployment, how he invested in infrastructure, how work life balance was affected, how the arts were affected. It is important to remember that you do not necessarily have to agree with the answer you give in the question, but lead with what you think you have more examples for.
