What was the second cause of the American Revolution ?
One cause of the American Revolution was the constant presence of taxation set by the British. Acts such as the Sugar, Stamp and all other Townshend Acts were all reasons to anger the colonists as they believed that these taxes were placed by the people in Britain as they viewed the colonists as inferior and wanted to maintain their tyranny over them. This explains why even after most Townshend acts we’re abolished, the Tea Act remained as it was still a way for Britain to appear dominant against the colonists in America.
