What is the best way to study for a fractions and algebra math test?
At Scoodle we understand that everyone learns in a different way. Some people learn through practice, using essays and notes; others prefer video lessons to watch and learn, some just need help with a specifically hard question, while some learn best 1-on-1 tutoring sessions. At Scoodle we cater for all types of learning styles and needs. From GCSE Maths video lessons to A-level English essays and specialist educators in every subject - we’ve got you covered.
Former university law tutor and lecturer; LLB, LLM and BPTC graduate
I have a First class degree in Law with Politics (2011) from Keele University, a Merit in the LLM (2012) from University College London and a Very Competent on the BPTC (2014) from City University London. I was formerly a tutor at SOAS, University of London on the contract, torts and family modules and lecturer on the torts module for a total of three years. I was one of the internal examiners for both coursework and exams for two of these years. I am due to commence pupillage in April 2019 at a respected common law set.
Experienced law tutor
My qualifications and experience: I completed my bachelor's degree in Law in 2013 and subsequently a master's degree in International Business and Commercial Law. I currently work within the Risk and Compliance department of an international law firm in central Manchester which involves analysing commercial conflict issues, money laundering and sanctions problems. A little about me: I was born and raised in Finland and moved to Bolton some 12 years ago. I speak fluent Finnish, English and Somali. I feel my multicultural and multilingual background has given me the opportunity to tailor my communication approach effectively. Accordingly, my approach will vary from tutee to tutee and level to level. Why I started tutoring: I have always loved sharing my knowledge and experience. I strongly believe that an individual’s success and failure in school, college or university is far more complicated that simply "I am intelligent" or "I am smart." I find this limits students ability to progress. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to empower individuals through improving their confidence and showing them how to revise or structure essays. I see tutoring as a chance to start my own little school. Seeing others succeed, especially when I have had the opportunity to help, has always been something special to me.
Graduate from The University of Manchester and savvy tutor
I’m an experienced English, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Law tutor who tailors learning resources to fit the student, not the other way round! I have worked in schools, universities, and adult learning centres teaching English and academic skills. I was Editor of my university’s legal publication, and I still edit academic papers for language accuracy. I believe everyone has the capacity to achieve their best grades- it just takes commitment and understanding.
