Funding was provided mainly to Western Europe which created a wider divide between east and west as Stalin prevented Eastern European countries accepting the aid. Soviets set up COMECON as a result of this. It was supposed to help stop countries in the Soviet sphere from slipping towards America’s influence and so started and continued an economic stand off that the Soviets ultimately couldn’t match.

Funded history PhD student offering history and humanities tuition
I am currently undertaking a funded History PhD at King's College London. I hold a Masters in Renaissance and Early Modern Studies for which I was awarded a distinction and full funding as well as a BA Hons (First Class) in history and politics from the University of York. I have been a tutor since 2007 and have tutored over 100 clients since then. I am an organised, committed, reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children and young adults, helping them to develop their understanding and interest in a variety of subjects. I have been commended for my tutoring approach which emphasises clarity, consistency and enthusiasm. I have helped those I tutor to significantly improve their exam results and grades, often taking them from C and D level grades up to high As and Bs. One of my most recent tutee, who I tutored in GCSE Geography and History, achieved an A* in both subjects and came top of his year at school for his GCSE grades.

Law graduate with 12+ years practical work experience looking to tutor in law
Hi, Im Amba. I am a mum to a 6 year old boy, a lawyer and law tutor! I have been interested in teaching/tutoring/mentoring students for some time and have always found ways to do this in all my roles. I provide teaching on all core subjects with some options too please contact me to discuss any optional subjects. I have experience of working with students with SEN; dyslexia, ADHD and ASD. I will help you to learn through application of law to real case studies, as opposed to "throwing a load of information" at you. This is not engaging for you as there is no element of thought for you to be a sponge. i will encourage you to think for yourself and anticipate what the next steps are. I have found online sessions to be the best form of teaching as they are that little bit more interactive, I like to follow students own course outlines, working towards any upcoming assessments or seminars which need to be prepared for. I have a patient, nurturing but firm approach. I am fun, approachable and down to earth. I will always be honest and believe that everyone should further their knowledge and would love to be apart of helping someone do that! I have been tutoring students across all disciplines of law, and differing levels; A Level, CILEX, LLB, LLM, LPC and GDL. I am able to offer other subjects which are listed on my profile as i have experience within these, i am however focusing on Law Tutoring but feel free to contact me to discuss your needs and my availability. Here's a cringy video of me to introduce myself - https://youtu.be/WBsRWiPNe9A I offer both face to face and online sessions. Face to face will have added travel costs due to the cost of travel and extra time, but this will be discussed with you. ------ I also provide a proofreading service for essays, coursework, dissertations etc .I can also provide guidance as to how to structure the essay ahead of writing it so there is a starting point which will help you obtain the best possible grade and not involve a re-write after proofreading. There are different levels of packages available which are dependant on; word count and turnaround time. All prices include a video call to go through any feedback afterwards. All documents will be returned using a track changes document. Discounts for students already receiving tutoring or for multiple essays, or for a return on the same essay following feedback will apply. Please contact me for a quote. 1. Structure planning - basic structure and content ideas provided with point of interest to note. 2. Basic Formatting - spacing, margins, alignment, font, italicisation, consistent formatting throughout the document. 2. Proofreading - includes the basic formatting package as well as; improving the formality of the language, spelling, punctuation, grammar, of essays, consistent terminology, layout of the document, correcting any syntax errors. 3. Law and Oxbridge admissions tutor with 2+ years experience
I'm a First-class Law graduate from Oxford University and am currently waiting to begin my Master's in Law at Oxford. I am happy to tutor personal statements, interview and LNAT practice for Oxbridge applicants. I am an easy person to work with, and I aim to tailor my tutoring to suit your particular circumstances and style. This helps to set appropriate expectations and quickly establish a good relationship and rapport, which I have found helps immensely in tutoring situations. I am experienced with tutoring from GCSE to degree-level with many happy clients.
Intellectual property law tutor with 30 years' experience
Learning a subject is much easier if you're enthusiastic about it, and I can't imagine a more exciting area of law than intellectual property. I have helped dozens of students not only pass their exams but become real enthusiasts for the subject - and many of them are now working in the area. As well as private tuition, I was module leader for IP at Nottingham Law School part-time and I have taught at a number of other universities. I'm very familiar with the University of London International Programme IP module, but happy to help students doing other courses.
