LAW
Asked by Tasnim

What is a resulting/applied and constructive trust and their differences?

There is significant overlap. Resulting trust arise in the absence of an express trust in which, say, an individual contributes towards the purchase price of the property without intending to make a gift. As a result the the legal owner of the property holds a beneficial interest on trust for the contributor in proportion to the amount of that contribution. Constructive trusts operate in the same way but differ in that shares are calculated using factors beyond simply what is proportionate to the original contribution.

Jade-Amanda Laporte

Enthusiastic and fun Oxbridge educated tutor, eager to help you enjoy learning.

Hello! Do you or your children need help with Law? English? Maths? Careers advice? Oxbridge Applications? 11+ entrance? I believe passionately that learning should be fun. I have had a mixture of educational experiences including being homeschooled, educated in the private and public sector so have a fairly good experience of the education system! I draw particular focus on learning in a visual and fun way using many mediums such as video, games, audio, art and more and believe that learning should never be dull or boring (or you are doing something wrong!) LAW  Are you studying Law GCSE or A-Level or doing an undergraduate degree and need some extra tuition?  Or would you like some guidance on Oxbridge applications to the Law tripos? Do you need help completing your personal statement? Do you need help reading and summarising journal articles? Want a career as a barrister or solicitor and are not sure how to go about it? Then I can help! I read Law at University of Cambridge and am now at City University in which last year I won the university mooting competition. I have been president of two National Law societies and am very passionate about the subject. I am training for the bar at the moment and know a lot about the industry. So I'd be more than happy to help give you some lessons, enhance your knowledge and help with suggested reading material, brushing up your CV, and pass on all my little top tips.  CREATIVE WRITING; ENGLISH LANGUAGE; ENGLISH EARLY YEARS, GCSE & A-LEVEL; PROOF-READING, AUDIO TYPING  I studied for my English GCSE when I was 9 years old because it was my favourite subject and I have a very vivid imagination!  If English isn't your first language and you would like someone to help you with English - I can help with conversation, reading, and grammar.  If you need someone simply to read over and improve your assignments, let me help!  11+, ENGLISH, MATHS, VERBAL & NON-VERBAL REASONING & INTERVIEWS  I have endured that process of doing 11+ and managed to be successfully admitted to many public schools. I am happy to help give you any extra help you might need.  I have been DRB checked to work with little ones (I am a brownie guide leader)  I am based in Cambridge, fairly flexible with time and happy to converse via email, Skype, telephone, face-to-face lessons, or whichever medium works for you.

Law graduate with 12+ years practical work experience looking to tutor in law

Hi, Im Amba. I am a mum to a 6 year old boy, a lawyer and law tutor! I have been interested in teaching/tutoring/mentoring students for some time and have always found ways to do this in all my roles. I provide teaching on all core subjects with some options too please contact me to discuss any optional subjects. I have experience of working with students with SEN; dyslexia, ADHD and ASD. I will help you to learn through application of law to real case studies, as opposed to "throwing a load of information" at you. This is not engaging for you as there is no element of thought for you to be a sponge. i will encourage you to think for yourself and anticipate what the next steps are. I have found online sessions to be the best form of teaching as they are that little bit more interactive, I like to follow students own course outlines, working towards any upcoming assessments or seminars which need to be prepared for. I have a patient, nurturing but firm approach. I am fun, approachable and down to earth. I will always be honest and believe that everyone should further their knowledge and would love to be apart of helping someone do that! I have been tutoring students across all disciplines of law, and differing levels; A Level, CILEX, LLB, LLM, LPC and GDL. I am able to offer other subjects which are listed on my profile as i have experience within these, i am however focusing on Law Tutoring but feel free to contact me to discuss your needs and my availability. Here's a cringy video of me to introduce myself - https://youtu.be/WBsRWiPNe9A I offer both face to face and online sessions. Face to face will have added travel costs due to the cost of travel and extra time, but this will be discussed with you. ------ I also provide a proofreading service for essays, coursework, dissertations etc .I can also provide guidance as to how to structure the essay ahead of writing it so there is a starting point which will help you obtain the best possible grade and not involve a re-write after proofreading. There are different levels of packages available which are dependant on; word count and turnaround time. All prices include a video call to go through any feedback afterwards. All documents will be returned using a track changes document. Discounts for students already receiving tutoring or for multiple essays, or for a return on the same essay following feedback will apply. Please contact me for a quote. 1. Structure planning - basic structure and content ideas provided with point of interest to note. 2. Basic Formatting - spacing, margins, alignment, font, italicisation, consistent formatting throughout the document. 2. Proofreading - includes the basic formatting package as well as; improving the formality of the language, spelling, punctuation, grammar, of essays, consistent terminology, layout of the document, correcting any syntax errors. 3. Content proofreading- includes basic formatting and proofreading packages as well as; improving logic, relevance and clarity, clarification of arguments, guidance as to a specific structure and style, standardising specific terminology. I look forward to working with you!
