n represents where the term in the sequence. So for the first term n=1, for the second term n =2 etc. All you have to do is substitute in values for n to find the terms of the sequence. 5(1) - 30 = -25 5(2) - 30 = -20 5(3) - 30 = -15 5(4) - 30 = -10 5(5) - 30 = -5 5(6) - 30 = 0 So the first 6 terms for your sequence would be: -25, -20, -15, -10, -5, 0

Enthusiastic and friendly tutor in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Chinese, and 11+ / ISEB exams.
Hi there! My name is Theo and I am a Year 13 student studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Chinese (4 A*s, 11 GCSE Grade 9s), looking to pursue medicine at university. I am particularly fascinated by human biology and biochemistry, but enjoy learning about other subjects that interest me, such as politics and Chinese history and culture. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and would love to take the opportunity to share my academic knowledge and other insights as a mentor. For the last year I have worked for two hours a week as a voluntary tutor, where I have developed the skills and understanding required to be a successful tutor. I also find it incredibly exciting and rewarding to see students develop and get to grips with new topics, as well as be enthusiastic about topics I'm also keen on! I enjoy a student-led approach to tutoring, where the goals and targets of the student are our primary focus, such as an upcoming exam. What I quite like to do is, if there is a particular topic that the student would like to focus on, then we can go through the theory of it together, but if not, it can be really beneficial to go through past paper questions together and then pause and reflect on any topics that are particularly challenging.

Maths | Economics | 6 years experience
Graduated with a First Class Honours in Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University. I have 6 years experience teaching Maths and Economics and love teaching them both from a very basic level to more advanced. I tailor my teaching methods to cater for the needs of different students - and if you’re like me and take time to understand things, dont worry - I will ensure I take things slowly and only move on when you are happy with a topic. I’ve taught over 200 students in total over 6 years and am still looking to help students out with subjects I know.

I am currently a student at Trinity College, Cambridge, reading Modern and Medieval Languages (French and Spanish). In 2019, I passed my A Levels with 3A*s in French, Latin, and Spanish, and I have 12 GCSEs (9A* and 3A). I also hold ARSM Diplomas with Distinction in Singing and Flute performance, and Grade 8 Piano with distinction. I am offering 1 to 1 tutoring for French, Latin and Spanish (up to A Level standard), Ancient Greek (up to GCSE standard), English and Maths (primary school/Common Entrance standard), and music lessons tailored to your needs, whether it is as a beginner or working for a specific exam (up to GCSE). Our sessions will be based around how you want to improve, whether that is grammar, speaking (in the case of French or Spanish), writing, translation, or technique wise (for music). I can also give help with exam technique, revising techniques, and higher education advice. My most recent student has gained the highest grade for Common Entrance Latin at the school he applied to, and I look forward to helping you gain equal success.
