Asked by Eva

A tour of the island began at 10:25 a m. It lasted 4 hours and 42 minutes. What time was the tour over?

Hi Eva, Let's break down the minutes & hours into separate parts first. 10.25am plus 4 hours becomes 14.25 or 2.25pm. To make a full hour (3pm) we'd need to add 35 minutes. This leaves only 7 minutes. Add these remaining 7 minutes to 3pm and we get 3.07pm or 15.07. Hope that makes sense! ☺️
