Expand 4(3x-5)?

I assume the bracket reads “3 times x, minus 5”, not “3 multiplied by negative 5” 🤓 Multiply everything in the bracket by 4. 3x multiplied by 4 = 12x. -5 multiplied by 4 = -20. Answer = 12x - 20.
