A tutor above the rest
My greatest passion in life is learning and my second greatest passion is teaching which also involves learning. A little bit about me. I was raised in Turkey, France, Pakistan and the UK. I've experienced great success throughout my life due to the amazingly approachable, friendly and unforgettable teachers that I've studied with and from. This, in fact, is the foundation of my commitment to helping my students. I've been tutoring and teaching for 6 years in small and large groups, 1 to 1 lessons to classrooms, from secondary to university students. Feel free to ask me about anything.
Dedicated tutor and undergraduate at The University of Manchester
I have endured both GCSEs and A-Levels and trust me I understand how stressful it can be. I teach in a relaxed and easy going style, I am someone who is good at building good bonds and trust with students. My aim is not to get students to regurgitate for an exam and go, but to allow to students to take pride in their work and for them to finally find enjoyment in achieving what they never thought possible academically.
Enthusiastic and friendly tutor in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Chinese, and 11+ / ISEB exams.
Hi there! My name is Theo and I am a Year 13 student studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Chinese (4 A*s, 11 GCSE Grade 9s), looking to pursue medicine at university. I am particularly fascinated by human biology and biochemistry, but enjoy learning about other subjects that interest me, such as politics and Chinese history and culture. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and would love to take the opportunity to share my academic knowledge and other insights as a mentor. For the last year I have worked for two hours a week as a voluntary tutor, where I have developed the skills and understanding required to be a successful tutor. I also find it incredibly exciting and rewarding to see students develop and get to grips with new topics, as well as be enthusiastic about topics I'm also keen on! I enjoy a student-led approach to tutoring, where the goals and targets of the student are our primary focus, such as an upcoming exam. What I quite like to do is, if there is a particular topic that the student would like to focus on, then we can go through the theory of it together, but if not, it can be really beneficial to go through past paper questions together and then pause and reflect on any topics that are particularly challenging.
Currently very experienced and knowledgeable in mainly Accounting.
Hey! I have been a tutor for a while now, although I have stopped since covid hit us. I have taught Islamic studies, Quran, English and Maths to children between the ages of 5 and 15. However, I am now specialising in Accounting as this is what I do on a day to day basis. I will still be offering the subjects listed above but mainly on a lower level. Please message me for more details. Thank you and I hope your studies go well! :)
I’m a fun, friendly, experienced ABA tutor with a passion for English! :)
Upon graduating from Roehampton University with a first class Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Linguistics, my studies in both my Psycholinguistics and Phonology of Sign Language modules as well as my experience working as an ABA tutor, have allowed me to acquire some of the most valuable knowledge and skills required for working with those with speech, language and communication difficulties. I also have experience as an academic tutor for Primary English and Maths and have recently graduated with a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Education. I have experience as a class teacher teaching in KS1, preparing children for GCSE English, phonics screening, SATS and 11+ exams in a mainstream setting. I am a very creative, easy going and friendly person and strive to aid each child and their families to gain the confidence in themselves to attain and achieve their full potential :). Currently only offering online sessions.
