# Johns decorating business has 25 customers in year 1 and a revenue of £35,700. His objective is to gain a 20% increase in sales in year 2, and a 30% increase in sales value. How many customers will he have and what will his revenue be?

20% increase in sales means 20% increase in in customers. 20% of 25 is is 5. 25+5=30. So he will now have 30 customers. To work out his revenue we do 35700 *1.2*1.3=£55692
