MATHS
Asked by Cadence

Michael randomly selected 30% of the 7th grade students at school to found out their favorite season. What is a reasonable prediction of the number of 200 7th graders who would choose summer as their favorite season?

First off, you'd take 30% of 200. This would be 0.3×200 = 60. Now, since there are 4 seasons, we can say that about a quarter (25%) will have summer as their favourite. So we find 25% of 60 which is 0.25x60 = 15. So 15 students should have summer as their favourite season.
