# What’s the nth term of 1,10,25,46,73,106?

Hi Ruby, so we can see that the difference between 1,10,25,46,73 and 106 is 9,15,21,27 and 33 now we look at the differences between 9,15,21,27 and 33 from which we can see that the difference between each number is 6 so the nth term will be 3n^2 (difference divided by 2) when we do 3n^2 we get 3,12,27,48 the difference is 2 so the nth term is 3n^2 - 2
