# Whatβs the sale price of a $64 jacket with 20% discount?

### Mary Rodriguez

Assuming that the full price is $64, you need to work out 20% of 64. If you have a calculator, you can just o 64 x 0.2. If you need to work it out in your head, I would work out 10% and then double it. 10% of 64 is 6.4. So, 20% is 12.8. If the full price is $64, and 20% is $12.80, a 20% sale means the final is $51.20.

Hey! I will help you learn all that you want to learn, Iβm patient, caring

First to get 10% of $64 you need to divide by ten. So.. $64 / 10 = $6.40 To make that 20% you then need to multiply by 2. So.. $6.40 x 2 = $12.80 So to work out the sale price you need to subtract the 20% from the original sum of $64. $64 - $12.80 = $51.20 Glad to help :)
