What’s the sale price of a \$64 jacket with 20% discount?

First to get 10% of \$64 you need to divide by ten. So.. \$64 / 10 = \$6.40 To make that 20% you then need to multiply by 2. So.. \$6.40 x 2 = \$12.80 So to work out the sale price you need to subtract the 20% from the original sum of \$64. \$64 - \$12.80 = \$51.20 Glad to help :)  Andrew Mckenna
