# Work out 2843.61 divided by 7?

When you divide 2843.61 by 7, start with the first two numbers. Eg 28÷7=4 therefore the first number of the answer will be 4. 43÷7= 6.14, therefore the next numbers of the answer will be 06 and carry one over as it does not give a whole number. 1.6÷7(because one whole number is being carried over) = 0.22, therefore the next number will be 0.2 and the other two will be carried down. 0.21÷7=0.03 this is the last number to the answer. Therefore 2843.61÷7 =406.23
