You will be assessed on the quality of your organisation, communication and accuracy in writing, A task takes 6 hours 15 minutes to complete. of this time is spent on planning, How long was spent on the rest of the task? Give your answer in hours and?

I think you have missed some vital information in your wording. A percentage or fraction before “of this time” perhaps. And I assume the answer is to be given in hours....and minutes. Based on this, and due to the fact that 6hrs and 15 minutes is 25 lots of 15 minutes, it should be a simple calculation. For example, let us assume 20% was the planning time. This gives 1 hour 15 minutes of planning and 5 hours for the rest of the task. If 40% was the planning time, then you would end up with 2 hours 30 minutes of planning time with 3 hours 45 minutes remaining for the rest of the task. Alternatively, if the numbers are not so easy to work with, just divide the total minutes (375) by 100 to give 1% and then multiply by the percentage required and convert the answer into hours and minutes. Hope this helps.
