PHYSICS
Asked by Cristina

A weather balloon has a volume 1750L at 1.016 atm and is released into the atmosphere. At the highest point above the ground, the pressure is 35.0 kPa. What’s the volume of the balloon?

1.016 atm converted to kPa = 102.946 kPa Use Boyle’s Law P1 V1 = P2 V2 So 1750 x 102.946 =35 V2 From this V2 = (1750x 102.946)/35 So V2 = 5247.3 Lt
