Physics is the knowledge of the world around you. The forces, materials, energy and how they interaction. Technology is an ability to 'take knowledge'... Take the physics knowledge and do something constructive with it in the real world. Knowledge is useless until it is applied.
Physics is the study of natures laws of energy, waves forces and how the universe 'works'. Technology is about using these principles to build machines or systems that do useful jobs.
