Physics is a description of the fundamental laws which govern how matter, forces and waves interact. Our understanding of Physics is incomplete and improving over time, but the laws themselves are fixed. Nature consists of all the naturally occurring (i.e. not man-made) objects in the universe, e.g. planets, stars, rocks, trees, animals etc. Technology is invented by humans and used to build artificial machines which we use as tools. Both Nature and Technology are bound by the laws of Physics. It is by observing how objects interact in Nature that we build up a more complete understanding of Physics. An understanding of Physics is helpful when developing new Technology as it allows us to make predictions about the way new objects we create will behave.
