Sayeed is a Physical Natural Sciences undergraduate at the University of Cambridge. Having studied Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Materials Sciences in his first years at university, he is currently specialised in Chemistry with a focus on physical and theoretical fields. Sayeed has completed two summer research internships in nano-chemistry and techno-economic modelling. Brought up in the UK, Sayeed achieved an excellent set of grades for A-Levels (4xA*) and GCSEs (1x9, 2x8, 7xA*, 1xA). His success can be attributed to proper understanding of course content and effective revision techniques. This informs Sayeed’s teaching style of guiding his students through new material by engaging their curiosity and intuition. In this way, students take a personal approach to their learning, rather than relying on rote memorisation. Outside of his studies, Sayeed has taken an active role in several student societies including Access, Welfare, and Charity Officer at the Cambridge University Islamic Society; and Treasurer at the Cambridge University Bangla Society. Sayeed has also taken intermediate-level French and Arabic courses at university and abroad, respectively. His hobbies include hiking and travelling.

Hi :) I'm Alisha. Ive been told that I am an individual who has a positive can do attitude and easy going. You can let me know if this is true ? I've been tutoring for almost 9 years now and absolutely enjoy it. Especially knowing that I'm helping students to build a strong foundation to set them up for the future. I have tutored students from KS1 upto A-levels, teaching Maths and Sciences (and English to younger students). Not only have I tutored students, I have had the amazing opportunity (and a challenging yet unique experience) to also home school a number of students in the past. Misc: I am a socially active person who enjoys trying out new activities or visiting new places. Next on the to do list is sky diving (ahhhh). I also try to be actively involved in raising funds for different charities. For example, I have helped organise charity events to raise funds for educational resources and schools in rural developing countries and orphans in need.
I’m passionate about teaching Physics, Maths and Programming.
I’m currently a second year PhD student at Imperial College doing physics. I’m passionate about Maths, physics and coding (especially in Python) and love sharing my experiences and enthusiasm with those I teach. “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough” has always been the major motivation that drives me to teach and makes me enjoy teaching. When I teach, my strategy involves ensuring students understand basic concepts and techniques, how to link them together to solve more complex problems and helping students build up their abstract thinking progressively. In the past, I had taught A-level physics to Year 12 students at Newham Collegiate Sixth Form as a part-time tutor. My teaching experience also includes undergraduate teaching at Imperial College and I’ve taught undergraduate-level courses such as Year 2 Electromagnetism (for chemists), Year 3 Computational Physics and supervised Year 1 summer projects. Prices are negotiable.
