PSYCHOLOGY
Asked by Emma

How do you deal with school work and feeling down at the same time (e.g when youre heavily unmotivated)?

For whatever reason, we don’t do what we’re meant to do. It’s sometimes because we don’t enjoy it, it’s sometimes because we find it difficult, it’s sometimes because we fear failing, and sometimes it’s because we’re just lazy. Yet we all know it needs to be done and this weighs heavily on the back of our minds resulting in a lack of motivation. Solution? Start. You don’t need to worry about doing it right or doing it quickly, you just need to make a start. Once you’re doing what you’re meant to be doing, however you’re doing it, you’ll feel good. You won’t have any guilt, you won’t have any worry and the very motivation you need will return. Works sets you free; start and you’ll finish.
