At Scoodle we understand that everyone learns in a different way. Some people learn through practice, using essays and notes; others prefer video lessons to watch and learn, some just need help with a specifically hard question, while some learn best 1-on-1 tutoring sessions. At Scoodle we cater for all types of learning styles and needs. From GCSE Maths video lessons to A-level English essays and specialist educators in every subject - we’ve got you covered.

I love teaching Maths and Science and you’ll learn to love it as much as I do!
I have worked as an independent tutor for over 5 years and I am currently studying Biochemistry at the University of Warwick. For 7 months during my gap year, I worked as an SEN Learning Support Assistant in a comprehensive school in order to gain some wider knowledge and experience in the education system as I would like to eventually become a teacher of Science once I leave university. With this experience, I am also suited to work with children facing a wide range of barriers to learning and ensuring that they reach their full potential.

Passionate GCSE and A Level RE/Philosophy & Ethics teacher.
Hi there, My name is Andrew Dickson and I have been teaching at Ilkley Grammar School since September 2015. I teach Religious Education to GCSE level and Philosophy and Ethics to A Level. I believe in a personalised approach to education thus ensuring that my students will have the best possible chances of success in their educational journey. I have a variety of resources specific to both the GCSE and A Level courses that my pupils have found immensely beneficial and I am happy to share these with your child. Pupils under my responsibility also receive a tailored revision plan, including frequent assessments to embed key language, exam technique and terminology including detailed oral and written feedback on how to improve. Last year, I undertook training with AQA to become an examiner for the exam board. Due to this, I have an intimate understanding of what examiners are looking for in written responses. Thank you for reading and hopefully we will be in touch soon. Andrew.
Seasoned tutor and undergraduate at University of Reading
As a student myself I understand some subjects may not be the most exciting and your teachers at school maybe not teach you in a way that’s best suited to maximise the amount of information you take in. I prefer a fun, exciting approach into teaching you (probably something you vE read in every tutors bio so far but I truly will put their words to the test). I like to get to know you to find out which teaching method is best for you. And over time help you enjoy learning about the subject rather than you feeling like it’s something YOU HAVE TO DO. As a law student I vE learnt how to condense and prioritise certain parts of text when you are being thrown A LOT of information and want to translate these qualities into my students.
