An insect lays it’s eggs which hatch into larvae on open wounds of living wounds of living animals. The larvae will then grow in size after some time. Suggest and explain two benefits for it to lay its eggs on open wounds?

1) For warmth - required for the life cycle 2) Nutrients - can easily get nutrients from the blood of the wounded organism
