At Scoodle we understand that everyone learns in a different way. Some people learn through practice, using essays and notes; others prefer video lessons to watch and learn, some just need help with a specifically hard question, while some learn best 1-on-1 tutoring sessions. At Scoodle we cater for all types of learning styles and needs. From GCSE Maths video lessons to A-level English essays and specialist educators in every subject - we’ve got you covered.

Medical student at UCL with past teaching experience
Hi! I’m a first year medical student at UCL. I am especially passionate about helping people from state school backgrounds with their medical applications, so I am offering tuition in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and help with applications and interviews. I believe in teaching as a discussion between peers, rather than me just talking at a student. I find that many difficulties are down to overcomplicated explanations or a few simple misconceptions, so when I teach I ensure I gain an accurate understanding of students’ past teaching, concerns and questions. When in school, I tutored girls in the years below hoping to get top grades in their Maths GCSE, and ran classes for high-achieving students in English Language and Literature. Currently, I teach regularly with StreetDoctors, a charity which teaches about the medical and social consequences of youth violence and emergency first-aid to young people aged 11-25. In my spare time, I play netball (badly!) for the medical school and I’m in the wilderness medicine and SCUBA societies.
Supportive qualified primary teacher
I gained my PGCE from the University of Nottingham and am currently supply teaching across various schools. Teaching in different schools and age ranges provides me with an in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements of all subjects at all primary age levels, whilst I am able to adapt on a daily basis. I cater for different learning styles through a mixed learning approach as I use various methods to help all learners – this includes the use of visual resources and learning through a hands-on approach. My lessons include varied activities, promoting creativity, and I ensure that high expectations are set and pupils’ learning is stretched accordingly to achieve these expectations. I am caring, supportive and positive. My enthusiasm for education transfers well during teaching, allowing children to develop a thirst for learning. I understand that each child is unique and all require a secure, caring and stimulating atmosphere, and I can help children to meet their potential through an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
