Separation techniques include. Filtering an insoluble solid from a liquid using a wire mesh or paper. Distilling a soluble solid from a liquid by evaporation and condensation and collecting both the liquid and solid. Crystallization of a soluble solid from a liquid using evaporation. Fractional distillation of multiple soluble liquids and collection of each fraction. I have lessons on each of these techniques available.
