STUDY SKILLS
Asked by Ellouise

I am doing revision and I’m not sure how to revise properly and remember it I have a notepad that I am writing in and I’ve wrote loads but I need to know how to do revision and remember it😫?

Trying a few methods may be really helpful to find which is best for you. It's also important to choose a method for what you're learning For English quotes and maths formulae I used flash cards to test myself and would go through all the cards until I got the all right For history I made huge mindmaps to read and summarised my notes by topic Revision clocks are also a good method and past papers are the best for non essay subjects I would also plan out essays to create the best structure to remember what would be most relevant I hope this helps and good luck!

I know the feeling! Don’t worry you aren’t alone 🙂 You need to figure out how you learn best. For me personally: 1. I make notes from my notes, because the process helps me remember even more. 2. I learn really well by listening. So, I’ll either record a video myself or watch a talk on YouTube to make sure I really understand something. 3. Teach! Try and teach a friend or younger sibling. It is an amaazing way to learn. Give it ago and let me know how it works out for you 👌
