Enthusiastic tutor by day and UCL medic by night!
Experienced Maths, Science and Medical Application tutor. I have always enjoyed teaching and have years of experience tutoring. I think studying should be fun! Having said that, I hated school growing up. I was always in the bottom set, and had little motivation to improve. But through some great teachers and online tutors in year 11, I turned things around. I went from low predicted grades to smashing my GCSEs, getting 3A* and an A (Maths, Bio, Chem and Spanish) at A-Level and 4 medical school offers!!! Now I want to help others enjoy learning, as I believe that’s the key to success. Whether you just want to pass, improve slightly or massively, I hope I can help!! Thanks, BenView Profile

Physics Student at UCL | Past Teaching Experience | Online Tutoring Available
Hello! I’m a first year physics student at UCL. I am really passionate about helping students with getting into their first choice universities and so I’m offering tuition in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I believe in teaching as a discussion between between peers, rather than me just talking at a student. I find that many difficulties are down to over complicated explanations or a few simple misconceptions, so when I teach I ensure I gain an accurate understanding of students’ past teachings, concerns and questions. Don’t hesitate to contact me if your son/daughter might be interested in my tutoring services.View Profile
I love learning and helping others achieve their potential and learn too.
I’m currently studying at Warwick University for French and Linguistics after achieving a Grade 9 (A*) in both Maths and English Language as well as a Grade 7 (A) in English Literature. I have in depth knowledge on the new style curriculum especially as I tutor Maths GCSE weekly. I am very personable and aim to create a fun but hardworking atmosphere that benefits and incorporates both the student and the parents. As well as tutoring, I can help with how to deal with exam stress and exam preparation as I view wellbeing to be as important as academic success. I also have experience helping people with learning difficulties and those who just generally struggle as well as those of higher abilities.View Profile
Enthusiastic tutor in chemistry and maths
I have graduated from high school in the UK and am currently studying Medicine at UCL. I am very interested in science subjects, and have taken them in A levels, receiving 3A*s. I would therefore like to share my ways of studying as well as exam techniques. I am a curious and enthusiastic individual who is particularly interested in Chemistry. I have been involved in Chemical Analytical Challenges and Symposiums. At school, I have also given biology presentations, including topics of epilepsy and effects of chocolate on the brain. I enjoy learning about the human system as it allows me to understand fully on how our body responds to different situations. I also had the experience of teaching Mathematics, alongside sciences. I have achieved A* within a year in A level maths, with UMS 581/600. I relish the logical thinking in Maths and have tutored several students, giving them advice on how to approach a question when prompted. From past experiences, I adopted a wide range of teaching styles, ranging from interactive whiteboards during online tutoring, to providing quizzes and exercises during face-to-face tutoring. I believe that this interaction will enhance visual learning and enable students to retain knowledge and be more interested in the subject. I am a native Chinese speaker and have taken Chinese GCSE and AS level. In my free time, I am an avid violinist and was the leader of Symphony Orchestra. I have taken music as one of my GCSEs before and I particularly enjoyed the classical pieces studied during the course. I hope to connect with more people and influence students with my passion for the subjects through teaching. Please contact me if interested. Thank you very much.View Profile

Keep calm and get a good tutor. How bout Me? ;)
Hi !! 😁😁 Call me Jo! I am currently an engineering undergraduate at the university of Cambridge and am passionate to share my love for STEM. Having achieved 4A* and 1A at A level last year, I know exactly what is needed to succeed in the exams. Coming from a franco-Chinese family I also benefit from being trilingual. This took hard work but more importantly ‘smart’ work too and I constantly review my learning methods to ensure they are as efficient in the language learning process as possible. I am currently using it to learn German... so you could join me on the language learning journey! Or go for the more traditional and serious subjects such as math and the sciences. I have had a good deal of teaching experience both online and offline and am keen to engage on Scoodle too! So if you think you’d be interested, don’t hesitate to message me and we can figure it out from there 👌View Profile

Imperial EIE student providing online Maths, Physics and Chemistry tuition.
I am an online tutor providing lessons in Maths, Physics and Chemistry for KS3, GCSE and A Level students. I am a first year Electronic and Information Engineering student at Imperial College London. I have recently gone through the school process including applying to universities so I can assist prospective students with their university applications also. This includes personal statement help and interview practice. I have excelled in Maths and Physics at school which puts me in a unique position to help students who struggle with these subjects, especially with mechanics and modelling. Using a stylus and a touchscreen enables me to draw and annotate notes and diagrams for the student to see in real time using the interactive whiteboard. I have also completed an Extended Project Qualification where I designed a website and wrote a 3000 word report on sensory technology within robotic surgery. I achieved an A for this and I am able to help other students completing this qualification also.View Profile

I am passionate about education and want to help!
I chose my GCSE options in year 8 and started them in year 9. It was then I felt like I had to decide what career I want to go in. I knew I enjoyed teaching as I've done a lot mentoring; I also knew that Religious Studies was one of my most favourite subjects. Really, I loved (still do) cooking the most so a career in catering was also something I wanted but then I decided that from my experience it's not the most stable career and I am an academic. My parents suggested I go into law so I focussed on that. I got 18 A* - Cs for GCSE. I got a scholarship into Oxford for a pre-degree law course which I did along side my A-levels. For AS I did German, Philosophy and Ethics, History and English language and literature. The latter 2 subjects I did not do enjoy as much so I dropped them in A2 and picked up a full A-level in IT. I got a reduced offer to do law at Oxford but I decided I didn't want to do that anymore nor be in that environment again. I chose to do philosophy and R.S. instead which allowed me to dabble with other topics such as psychology, sociology, and government and politics. I have worked at schools as pupil assistant, mentor and teacher. I am now a manager at a tuition centre. (And I've been tutoring for over 8 years now). Sorry for the essay!View Profile
Seasoned tutor studying Law at Warwick University. Online tutoring available!
Hello! My name is Alyssa Miller and I am a first year Law student at the University of Warwick. I am half Chinese and half English; consequently, I am fluent in both English and Chinese. I have had a lot of experience in tutoring, from being a classroom helper for an entire GCSE Mandarin class, to being a personal tutor in English Literature for a struggling year 11 boy, to teaching basic Mandarin to a class full of Burmese refugee children. All these experiences have helped enhance my communication coupled with my teaching skills, it has allowed me to realise what to prioritise when approaching a new student - their strengths and weaknesses, their level of confidence towards the subject and most importantly, what learning methods best suit them. I will employ these techniques in order to ensure your child receives the best possible tutoring, and their grades coupled with their passion for the subject improve as soon as possible!View Profile

I am a Gap Year Student working in London for the year as a teaching assistant for languages, music and sport. Next year I will be going to Trinity College, Cambridge, to read Modern and Medieval Languages. I recently passed my A Levels with 3A*s in French, Latin, and Spanish, and I have 12 GCSEs (9A* and 3A). I also hold ARSM Diplomas with Distinction in Singing and Flute performance, and Grade 8 Piano with distinction. I am offering 1 to 1 tutoring for French, Latin and Spanish (up to A Level standard), Ancient Greek and Maths (up to GCSE standard), English and Science (primary school/Common Entrance standard), and music lessons tailored to your needs, whether it is as a beginner or working for a specific exam (up to A Level). Helping students reach their potential
I am currently living in London. I have studied up until A-Levels and have been working in the education sector for the past 5 years. I am a qualified Teaching Assistant and have worked in a school through Early Years to Year 6. I have worked in an Education Centre for many years, tutoring students between the age of 5-11. I specify in teaching Year 2 and Year 6 SATs, as well as 11+ Entrance exams. I have also been doing private tutoring for 1 to 1 students. I believe every tutor has their own style when it comes to teaching, therefore I try to embed my own style of teaching to make the sessions fun and effective for students. Similarly, each child has their own preference with learning, hence why I would adapt my teaching in accordance to how they like, as this will make the sessions more enjoyable for them. During my classes, I try to set homework after every lesson, as this ensures my students are constantly going over what they have learnt - I am a big believer of children learning through repetition. I always focus on one topic each lesson and will not move the child onto a different topic until they have understood what they have learnt. One to one tuition gives my students the time to go through their difficulties in depth, which is why I would spend as much time on their weaknesses and help them turn it into strengths.View Profile
A supportive and engaging tutor with an aim for success
Hi! My name is Sohini, a friendly and helpful tutor currently studying Maths at the LSE because of how much I love the subject and teaching it, so I would say that I major in Maths. Nevertheless, I have always enjoyed learning and teaching languages to others, in particular Spanish, French and Bengali. To quickly describe myself, I am 21-years old and have worked as a tutor for approximately 5 years now. From my experiences, I have picked up new and creative ways to make education as enjoyable and enlightening as possible. For a short time, I did also work as a fundraiser for multiple charities which enhanced my optimism and made me more confident with my abilities. In short, I don't give up. I consistently try to improve the development of my students so that they are satisfied with their quality of education and level of confidence. I have experience working at homes, schools and tutoring centres, and I have mostly worked with those aged between 5 and 17, both while employed and while volunteering. However, I have never limited myself to a particular age when it comes to taking students - learning is for all ages! Finally, I am flexible, both in time and lesson rate, and quick to respond to messages for lessons so feel free to message me, even if you don't see the time slot you want.
