About

Reading matters. We all know how important reading is, and if difficulties arise at an early age they need addressing as soon as possible. I have an honours degree in educating primary school children with added qualifications in reading recovery. My main aim is to help children, to enjoy their learning as they investigate letters, the sounds they make and how they use those sounds when reading and writing. I always plan each lesson to suit the individual's needs and evaluate after to see what is known and where we move to next. Working with a child or adult ,one to one enables me to see very quickly hi what they already know and to move on to new learning. I like to stimulate the child or adults enthusiasm for print by not only reading and writing.
