Reading matters. We all know how important reading is, and if difficulties arise at an early age they need addressing as soon as possible. I have an honours degree in educating primary school children with added qualifications in reading recovery. My main aim is to help children, to enjoy their learning as they investigate letters, the sounds they make and how they use those sounds when reading and writing.
