I’m a fully qualified teacher and I’m calm and patient.
I have been teaching maths and English for nine years. My students have included children aged 6-18 and adults. My teaching observations always comment on my ability to create a calm teaching environment and I believe that my strengths lie in boosting the confidence of my students.
I am adaptable, cheerful, honest, direct, humorous and positive in all areas.
I feel confident that my skills as a communicator and as an experienced teacher will be of value to students and parents. On a personal level, I would certainly describe myself as an energetic, enthusiastic person able to work effectively.
Qualified primary school teacher with experience in the private sector.

After successfully providing tuition to pupils in East London and having recently moved to Heanor, Derbyshire, I am looking to continue this service over a wide range of primary subjects. If your child is working towards their SATs, requires extra support or loves to learn more outside their time at school, I can supply an excellent standard of tuition for a reasonable fee. Hard-working tutor and who is ready to teach!
Hello! I’ve been tutoring for around 2 years now, working privately one to one, as well as teaching in tuition centres. I love teaching and helping children and can help with maths up to GCSE level (including further maths), Spanish up to A level as well as 11+ Tuition (in all areas) SATS, or general help! :)
I aim to facilitate an environment where my students can be at their best.
I have lived in multiple countries including UAE, Hong Kong, Australia and UK and utilise the travels to enhance the teaching experience. This adds value to every concept studied as I relate what we learn in a session to how it can contribute to the student achieving his/her dreams. My achievements include a Master's in Engineering at the University of Leeds (Aerospace engineering) and industrial experience at on one of the most prestigious institutions in the UK’s aero industry.
An enthusiastic Oxford graduate who specialises in Maths and Sciences
I am a recent graduate from Oxford University where I gained and integrated Masters in Biochemistry. Throughout my degree I studied molecular biology and organic chemistry as well as both pure and applied mathematics. I chose to specialise in Developmental Biology and Immunology for my masters but am passionate about all things science! My lessons are interactive and engaging and I try to use “real world” examples to make key information more memorable. I structure my lessons around the exam-board specification so you can be sure we will cover everything you need to know for your exams.
