Could you be a fantastic reader like Matilda? I can set you on the right road.
Reading matters. We all know how important reading is, and if difficulties arise at an early age they need addressing as soon as possible. I have an honours degree in educating primary school children with added qualifications in reading recovery. My main aim is to help children, to enjoy their learning as they investigate letters, the sounds they make and how they use those sounds when reading and writing. I always plan each lesson to suit the individual's needs and evaluate after to see what is known and where we move to next. Working with a child or adult ,one to one enables me to see very quickly hi what they already know and to move on to new learning. I like to stimulate the child or adults enthusiasm for print by not only reading and writing.

I’m a business minded tutor who loves helping others learn!
Hi there, I’m a kiwi guy living in Wandsworth, London. I’m great with kids of all ages, a top quality teacher and listener, and a very fast learner myself. My strengths are in numbers, finance, computers, English & soft skills, but I’m open to yours and your children’s needs! I’m also bachelor qualified accountant with over 8 years experience in roles in both New Zealand and London. My teaching style is very attentive. I like to spend time ensuring the right understanding has been made. I really enjoy the eureka moments and will readily try new or different techniques if I can see if a particular style of teaching isn’t working. I’ve had experience teaching through study groups and in a working environment. I have a passion for teaching, for nurturing success and for helping people overcome obstacles. I’d very much like to become a teacher in future too. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Looking forward to helping out however I can! Corben Lawrie
Enthusiastic tutor of Accounting, English and Maths. 5 star rated by students!
I am a young enthusiastic teacher with almost 2 years of Maths, English and Accounting teaching experience. Through my adaptable and engaging approach, I am able to adapt to my students learning style. All of my previous students have reported high satisfaction and improvements in their 2019 GCSE/ A Level results. I like to start lessons by understanding which parts of the syllabus/ modules the student is struggling with, before building a plan of action that works well alongside their current education and contains relevant milestones for the student to hit before exams. I studied English Literature, Mathematics and Chemistry at A Level, an Accounting and Finance degree at Durham University before obtaining my Chartered Accountancy qualification with the ICAEW.

I have volunteered to teach English in Indonesia and have helped friends and family informally in tutoring. I am dedicated, passionate and ready to help anyone interested in learning from me :)
Dedicated tutor and undergraduate at ACCA ASSOCIATION OF CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANTS
With more than 10 years of teaching experience of helping my students achieve the best possible results [mostly A*s], I have become an even more polished tutor and a mentor. I am also an auditor by profession with more than 7 years of working experience which has helped me in applying all the bookish knowledge in real life, making this as my Unique Selling Point. My students are best able to understand the concepts delivered during my teaching lessons because I always link every concept to real life examples which I have witnessed during my work life as a finance professional. I make sure my students are well aware of the reason for studying a particular subject and a particular concept so they are able to apply these concepts in a later stage in their professional life. I teach my students as a friend rather than as a teacher which brings them into a special comfort zone where we share ideas and clear out concepts.
