I specialise in teaching children with Autism.
NO AVAILABILITY: Currently on maternity leave. I'm a Senior Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Tutor in a specialist behavioural school for Autistic children/young adults in Paddock Wood. I also have previous experience with home tutoring ABA programmes and managing behavioural difficulties. Currently live in Strood.
I’m passionate about working with young people so they fulfil their potential!
Since September 2018, I’ve been working at Ark Swift Primary Academy as a Graduate Co-Teacher where, alongside offering general classroom support, I run my own intervention groups for maths, guided reading and grammar in Year 6. With a group of 9-10 children, I plan, prepare and teach every morning- differentiating the material do that they can reach the expected standard in their SATs. Furthermore, I have 18 months experience as an ABA Tutor - working for the U.K. Young Autism Project. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work with several children who are on the autism spectrum - ranging from as young as 4 to as old as 19. Also, from September 2019 I’ll be studying to gain my QTS in A Level economics.

I started working with children in 2012 after I gained my Level two certificate in Childcare and Education, then on to my Health and Social Care level 3 extended diploma and completed my Psychology with Counselling BSc degree. Previously worked at a Primary School as a teacher’s assistant, and an inclusive assistant to children with special educational needs. I enjoy creative and messy play with the children. My experience is from working with children from 0-16 years. I enjoy activities with the children that make learning fun. I am a caring, proactive, trustworthy, and reliable young woman .
